Warning To Pray

As we have stated time and time again we are in perilous times.

During these times have you ever thought what in the world is driving leaders to do what they are doing?

Why are nations turning against Israel?

Why are our leaders passing laws that legalize the slaughter of innocent babies under the guise of a woman’s right to choose?

Why are laws being passed that allow marriage between those of the same sex?

Why is evil condoned and God mocked from the highest levels of Government?

Friend, we make a mistake when we think we are warring with men. Behind all of this unrighteousness is a demon spirit.

The Book of Revelation gives us a look at the work of demonic spirits upon the world’s leaders that reject Christ.

Revelation 16:13-14 (New King James Version)13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and[a] of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

This scripture deals specifically with the end times but the principal is the same.

The dragon, which is the devil, sends forth his demons to manipulate ungodly world leaders for his evil purpose.

Leaders that put politics before the Word of God make themselves vulnerable to demonic influences.

Demons were behind Pharaoh as he oppressed the Israelites.

Demons were behind Hitler’s plot to kill every Jew.

Demons are behind every unrighteous act committed against the Word of God today.

We must pray and speak the Word against these demonic attacks.

Ephesians 6:12-13 (New King James Version)12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Pray for our leaders that their eyes may be open to God’s way and their heart receptive to the light of the Word.

Pray for our cities, our states and our President that they will heed the words of God’s prophets and the God’s Word.

It is too dangerous a time to politicize the truth.Pray.

Jesus: Lord of All

Many of us mentally ascent to the Lordship of Jesus.

In other words, we have no problem believing with our head that Jesus is the Son of God, His Word is truth, and that He is Lord of All.

However, we do have a problem in bringing these truths from the mental realm into the vital realm.

You see, even the devil believes Jesus is Lord. However, Jesus’ Lordship does the devil no good because he chose not to walk in that truth.

When we get the truth out of our heads and down into our hearts and then act on the truth our lives will be revolutionized.

Our minds will be renewed, our outlooks will change, and our lives will change.

For instance, the world is in a panic over swine flu.

Well, for the believer there is no panic.

Jesus is Lord over swine flu.

John 14:30 (Amplified Bible)30I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]

Notice, the devil has no power over Jesus. That means every weapon at his disposal is impotent against the risen Savior.

Is not the believer the Body of Christ?

Then the devil is powerless against the believer. That is unless through unbelief we give him way.

Confess Jesus as Lord over your home!

Confess Jesus as Lord over your family!

Confess Jesus as Lord over your health and finances!

If He is Lord then all must bow down to Him and His will!

His will is for you to be saved!

His will is for you to be healed!

His will is for you to have an abundant supply!

His will is for you to have peace!

His will is for you to have victory!
So demand all that is contrary to His will to get in line with His Will in Jesus’ Name.

Seeing Is Not Believing

The devil rules through sense knowledge. If he can get you to focus on what you can see, feel, hear, taste, or smell he can get a foothold your life.

You see, the Word of God is not beholden to the senses. It is not beholden to the circumstances.

It is only beholden to the faithfulness of God.

“Mace, that is all well and good but I can’t deny what I see.”

Friend, how about declaring the Word over what you see?

Jesus came across a rich young ruler whose daughter was dying. The ruler asked Jesus to come and heal her.

Well, on the way a bunch of folks from the ruler’s house came and told him not to bother Jesus anymore because his daughter was dead.

Did Jesus just go along with the circumstances?

No. In fact, His words were contrary to the physical evidence.

Matthew 9:24 (Amplified Bible)24He said, Go away; for the girl is not dead but sleeping. And they laughed and jeered at Him.

Have you ever noticed that even some Christian folk will mock you or question you when you dare to stand with the Word against physical evidence?

Don’t worry about it. Jesus had the same thing happen to Him.

Physically the girl was dead but Jesus said she was only sleeping. He then turned to the girl’s father.

Mark 5:36 (Amplified Bible)Overhearing but ignoring what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the Synagogue, Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear; only keep on believing.

Jesus ignored the natural evidence and called those things that be not as though they were. We should be doing the same!

He told the girl’s father to not only believe but to keep on believing.

Sometimes we start with faith. You know, we have a strong faith confession but then another symptom comes along or another bad report and our focus turns on the report and not the Word of God.

We have to believe and keep on believing.

Keep speaking the Word over that problem. The problem has to give into the Word.

Period.

“Mace, it was easier for him since Jesus was speaking to him to believe.”

Friend, you have His Word too. You have the Bible.

What is promised in the Bible is just as real and powerful for you as those Words Jesus spoke to the father.

Jesus raised her from the dead.

If you will believe the promises of the Bible and speak those promises over and against the physical evidence, His Word will work the miraculous in your life too!

The Blood and Confession of Faith

Did you know the devil is constantly before the throne of God accusing you of every misdeed, every mistake, and every sin that you have ever done?

Revelation 12:10 (New King James Version)10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

You and I both know the devil is a liar. However, if we are honest we also know that when he says we have sinned to our Father he is telling the truth.

“Mace, what hope do we have? I can’t deny what I have done. I did commit the sin of ( you fill in the blank) just yesterday.”

Well, if not for Jesus you would have a problem.

But, thank God we have a Savior.

I need a Savior!

Revelation 12:11 (New King James Version)11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Thank God for the Cross!

You see, the moment we confess our sin to the Lord the blood of Jesus completely wipes it away! It is gone!

The devil can bring accusation upon accusation against you to the Father.

All the Father says is, “Satan, I don’t know what you are talking about. I don’t see any sin at all. All I see is the blood of My Son Jesus.”

Praise God.

The blood brings us victory.

But notice in verse 11 the Word also says our testimony has a part to play in our victory.

Are you testifying of the devil’s work or of the Lord’s?

You see, if you are only confessing what the circumstances, symptoms, or the world is saying then you are testifying for Satan.

Think on it.

But, if you confess what the Word says IN SPITE of the circumstances, IN SPITE of symptoms, and IN SPITE of what the world is saying then you are testifying in the power of God and His Word.

Guess what?

God always honors His Word and those that believe Him.

He honors faith. The blood of Jesus + our faith confession = ABSOLUTE VICTORY!

Bound No More

What binds you?

Does fear of tomorrow hold you in bondage?

Perhaps worry about your child’s future has wrapped itself around your throat like a noose.

Is there some secret sin that has you chained down?

No matter what title we give it bondage is bondage.

There was a woman who walked around bent over at close to a 90-degree angle. The Bible says it was a demon spirit that bound her.

Never forget that it is the devil that wants you sick, diseased, and broken. Behind every malady is a demon.

When Jesus saw this woman he laid hands on her and she was set free.

Glory to God.

And all the religious folks rejoiced, right?

Not.

Luke 13:14-16 (New King James Version)14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.” 15 The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite![a] Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? 16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

I want you to focus on verse 16. Notice, Jesus said that since the woman was a daughter of Abraham she should be loosed from this bondage.

You see, the Jews had a covenant right to healing. It was part of the Covenant cut between God and Abraham. The problem was they had drifted away from the Covenant and polluted it with religion.

The devil had no legal right to bind a member of God’s Covenant people.

Friend, we have an even better covenant in Jesus Christ. If the devil had no right to bind the Jew under the Old Covenant he has even less right to bind a child of God.

Our Covenant was cut with the blood of Jesus.

The devil has no right to put sickness on you.

The devil has no right to bind you with sin.

The devil has no right to steal your finances.

He has no right.

But, we can give him place.

Unbelief gives the devil place in our life.

But, the blood keeps Him out.

So claim the blood of Jesus.

Claim your Covenant rights.

Be bound no more!

Warning To The Church

The Message To The Church At Sardis

Revelation 3:1-6 (New King James Version) 1 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write,‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.[a] 3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 4 You[b] have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

This represents the Reformation Church Age, which began about 1500 A.D. and continues, for the most part, unto this day.

Notice that the Lord Jesus is aware of the works of the Church and also the heart of the Church.

The Sardus church thought it was vibrant because of its works but the Lord says the opposite is true. It was on the verge of death.

The Lord then instructs the Church to strengthen the things that remain and that are ready to die.

What an indictment.

We see this today. In many of our Pentecostal/Charismatic circles the doctrine of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and New Covenant truths are on the verge of dying because they are not taught from the pulpits.

We need a revival in the Church. We must go back to the foundations of faith and strengthen the things that remain before we become spiritually impotent.

Heed the warnings of Christ.

Clouds Without Water

Let’s be clear. In order for there to be a counterfeit there must be a legitimate truth.

If you went to a bank with a billion dollar bill they would haul you away in an instant because there is no such thing as a billion dollar bill.

But, you might get by with a counterfeit 20 because there is such a thing and many people have legitimate 20-dollar bills.

Friend, there are legitimate ministers functioning in the five-fold ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist as listed in Ephesians 4:11. They are vital gifts to the Body of Christ and are called by the Holy Spirit.

Beware, however, because the devil has placed counterfeits in the Church.

I recently had a sister in the Lord tell me of an encounter she recently had. A woman came to her and told her she was a Prophet and Apostle. Then the so-called Prophet/Apostle began to tell my friend how to get rid of curses.

She said we are to pray the curse back on the individual.

Well, needless to say that is not Bible. Jesus Christ has already redeemed us from every curse on the Cross. And nowhere in scripture are we told to curse anyone.

She was a counterfeit.

Jude 1:10-13 (New King James Version)10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. 12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about[a] by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

These are strong words but they are of the Lord.

A true Prophet will never speak contrary to the Word of God. None of the five-fold ministry will do that.

This is why it is important to go to a good Church with a Holy Spirit and Word filled Pastor. A good Pastor will teach you the Word so you can recognize the wolves.

Also, so you don’t miss the real deal.

Answered Prayer

The devil has been very successful in getting believers to think that when they pray it is a crapshoot.

Sometimes you hit and sometimes you don’t.

Well, that is NOT what the Bible says.
1 John 5:14-15 (New King James Version) 14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Let’s break this down.
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will

How can we possibly know the Lord’s will? Well, it is stated in His Word. His Word is His Will. Therefore, when we pray the promises to the Lord we pray with confidence because we know HE IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD. ALWAYS.

The problem lies in His children not knowing the Word or not believing the Word. Don’t let tradition or religion stop you from being confident in the Word doing what it says it will do.

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Notice that when we pray according to the Word we have the petitions we have asked for.
It does not say will have. The Word says we have. That is present tense.

You see, we have them first by faith then our faith pulls them out of the spiritual realm into the natural realm.

The point is when you ask according to the Word you don’t have to wonder if God is going to answer or what the answer will be. His Word has already told us therefore we are confident in the answer and by faith already have them.

This is the faith life.

The Greater One

I think my favorite disciple was Peter. I can identify with him.

He was bold, impulsive, and loved the Lord.

And, man, he could mess things up.

Remember when Jesus was walking on the water and Peter saw him and said, “Lord if that is you call me out to you on the water?”

Jesus told him to come and guess what? Peter walked on the water.

While all the others sat in the boat Peter walked according to his faith in the supernatural realm. He walked on the water.

But, then the storm kicked up and he took his eyes off of Jesus and started to sink. He then cried the shortest prayer in the Bible, “Save me.” Jesus did just that.

It is easy to remember who you are when everything is smooth. When the winds were calm Peter had no problem believing for the supernatural.

It was when adversity hit that he took his eyes off of Jesus and sank. But, that wasn’t Jesus’ plan.

Jesus wanted him to walk on the water even through the storm. For it is through the storm that the supernatural power of God is needed and it is by the supernatural display of signs and wonders during the storm that Jesus is glorified.

1 John 4:4 (New King James Version)4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

As long as you maintain your faith in the greater One being in you then you will not sink.
Fear can’t overcome you because the greater one is in you.

And where the greater one is the devil and his are not allowed.

Cancer is not allowed!

Depression is not allowed!

Poverty is not allowed!

A clouded mind is not allowed!

Because the Greater One lives on the inside of each and every believer!I know this is a Rhema Word for someone reading this. Receive it and rejoice in the Lord for He is good!

He Is Faithful

The Lord is faithful. His faithfulness is not dependant upon our faithfulness.

Thank God.

One of my favorite scriptures is 1 John 1:9.
1 John 1:9 (Amplified Bible)9If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

Notice, not only is the Lord faithful to forgive us when we confess our sin but He continuously cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

There is nothing you have done or could ever do that the blood of Jesus cannot wipe away.

The blood of Jesus is more powerful than homosexuality, adultery, drug addiction, and alcoholism.

The blood of Jesus is able to wipe away lust, hatred, bigotry, and even murder.

Even child molestation and rape are not more powerful than the blood of Jesus Christ!

Yes, there is power in the blood of Jesus if we just access it by faith with a repentant heart.

Then and only then the Holy Spirit works in our life to get rid of that junk once and for all.
