Promotion

I don’t know about you but there have been many times I have wanted to quit an assignment God has given me.

I have thought to myself, “I am not making any difference. No one seems to care. Etc.”

Really that is a reaction to the flesh and the devil loves to attack the flesh.

Friend, the devil will do everything he can to hinder you in completing your assignment what ever it may be.

He will try and get you to doubt that God really gave you an assignment.

He will try and convince you that you made a mistake therefore your assignment is over.

He will try and persuade you that you are wasting your time. After all you have been at it for years and see little results.

As John Wayne would say, “Listen and listen good.”

THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!

When God has given you an assignment He will be faithful to see you through to its completion.

Moses spent years in the desert before he took his place as deliverer of Israel.

David spent years shepherding sheep after he was declared King of Israel.

1 Peter 5:6 (Amplified Bible)6Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,

Humble yourself before God and just keep moving forward.

Be faithful to the call, whether it be housewife, husband, or in ministry.

Step by step you will enter into the fullness of your assignment and the Lord will promote you.

And there ain’t a dawg gone thing the devil can do about it.

Ha Ha devil! Jesus is Lord!
