Death Is Not The End

Believers feel pain when loved ones die. We sorrow because we miss those that have gone on before us.

However, thank God death is not the end of the story.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (New King James Version) 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.[a]15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Friend, one day we will see our loved ones again. They will be young (33 ½ years old), strong and disease free.

What a family reunion that is going to be.

But, there is a catch.

They must be saved.

You see, those that have rejected Jesus Christ in this life will be rejected by Him in the after life. The lost will spend eternity in hell separated from God.

“Mace, that is not a very positive message.”

Friend, I am telling you the truth.

Let us never cease to pray for the salvation of our loved ones, pray for laborers to go out into the fields, and let the Holy Spirit prove Himself in our lives with signs and wonders.

Our loved one’s souls are to precious not to tell them about Jesus. If anything plant the seed and pray the Lord will send a laborer to reap the harvest of their soul.

Time is short.

Faith Without Works

Faith always has corresponding action.

We go to work every day because we have faith that we are going to get paid on payday.

Many of us have the check spent before we ever get it. This is because we have faith in our employer to meet his obligations.

Our actions correspond with our faith.

Faith in the Bible has corresponding actions too.

Our words agree with the promises of God because we have faith that our God will meet His obligations.

We tithe and we expect God to rebuke the devourer and open the windows of heaven and bless us (Malachi 3:10 – 11)

We call ourselves healed despite any symptoms the devil has placed on our body because our faith corresponds with the Word (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).

If we don’t have corresponding action our faith is a dead faith. It is mere mental assent.

James 2:26 (King James Version) 26For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

When you die physically your spirit leaves your body. Your body becomes nothing more than a dead shell. Eventually it will deteriorate, stink and rot.

Faith without corresponding action is nothing more than a dead, stinking shell of faith.

Faith with corresponding action is life. It is the faith life.

Faith Versus Mental Assent

It is faith that pleases God and not mental assent.

Mental assent agrees the Bible is the Word of God. It agrees that the promises in the Bible are true.

However, mental assent does not act upon the Word. Mental assent talks one out of receiving the promises.

“I believe but” is a common phrase of those that mentally assent.

Faith grabs a hold of the Word of God and talks and acts like it means what it says.

Faith is now. Faith says you have what the Bible says you have before you see the manifestation of the promise.

Hebrews 11:1 (Amplified Bible) 1NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

You see, faith in the Word is the proof of the promise.

The Bible says you were healed by the stripes of Jesus; therefore you act on that promise by confessing you are healed.

“What if I still feel sick?”

Faith is the proof of what you don’t see. Your senses will always speak contrary to faith. The devil always uses this avenue of attack.

Faith is not moved by the senses. Faith agrees with the Word of God and that settles it.

“I am healed because the Bible says so. That is all there is to it devil.”

Faith makes the promises personal and makes them real.

Faith pulls the promises from the spiritual realm into the natural realm.

So, feed on the Word of God every day to build your faith.Faith is what is going to put you over the top today.

A Little Goes A Long Way

The devil is very good at his job. You got to give him that. He is a deceiver and he loves his job.

He lies to people and tell them they can’t afford to tithe.
The truth is you can’t afford NOT to tithe.

Then he tells folk they can’t afford to give an offering above their tithe.

He likes to make you feel small and your offering too.

“Don’t give to that ministry. What good will your little $5.00 do? That ministry needs the big bucks and you don’t have any. So don’t give.”

There was a large crowd of people that came to see Jesus preach one day. Jesus had compassion on them and wanted to feed them.

You see, Jesus’ ministry was a ministry of action.

Well, the disciples whined about the impossibilities of feeding so many people.

There was a kid there that had five loaves of bread and two small fishes. He offered it to the disciples. The disciples were deceived like too many Christians are by their circumstances.

John 6:9 (New King James Version)9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”

Isn’t this how the devil does?

What good is your puny little offering?

What good is the time you spend teaching Sunday School really doing?

What good is your prayer against such a problem?

Who are you anyway?

Friend, the answer to all of these questions is nothing.

Your offering is nothing.

Your time and efforts are nothing.

Your prayer and even you are nothing.

If left alone.

But, in the Master’s hands things change, don’t they?

John 6:11-13 (New King James Version)11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples[a] to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” 13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.

In Jesus’ hands your offering multiplies by the untold thousands.

In Jesus’ hands your time and effort produce harvests of miracles and saved souls.

In Jesus’ hands your prayer becomes a spiritual atomic bomb against the enemy.

In Jesus’ hands you are a conqueror, an overcomer, a co laborer with the King of kings and Lord of Lords.

Friend, your offering may be small in your hands but once you release it to the Master’s hands you better watch out because the overflow is coming.

A Vision of Spiritual Warfare

Dear Friends and fellow co laborers,

I felt led of the Lord to share the following with you. May it bless you.

A few days ago I was walking my dog and praying. I began to pray for Israel and I went into a spiritual trance. It was as if I was looking at events through a glass window. I remember thinking "So, this is what Brother Hagin meant about visions and trances."

What I saw were these huge gigantic beasts that looked like bulls with the bodies like men. They hovered over Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Babylon (Iraq), and Gaza. These creatures were screaming and flinging their arms.

However, they were not screaming in victory but in pain. They were like animals fighting for life before collapsing in death.

There was a swarm around them like bees. There were thousand upon thousands of beings swarming around them.

The Holy Spirit brought me closer and I saw these beings looked like what reminded me of gladiators or what old pictures of the Aztec warriors looked like.

The Holy Spirit revealed the bull like creatures were demonic strongholds over those countries. The swarms were battalions of angels attacking them.

The Holy Spirit told me that every true church of the Lord Jesus Christ has battalions of angels at the ready waiting for their command. When we pray in tongues as a church they get their marching orders and attack.

He said too many churches have these angelic armies always at the ready and never on the attack.

These angels happened to be assigned to the church I attend and were responding to our church's corporate prayer in tongues for Israel.

The same thing happens when your church prays in the Holy Ghost corporately.

The Holy Spirit said these angels respond only to the supernatural prayer language of the Holy Spirit.

He told me to encourage the Church in that their Holy Ghost prayers are accomplishing much in the Spirit.

So be encouraged. Keep attacking in the Spirit!

Mace

The Cross of Christ Part 4

Friend, judgment is coming to the world. Judgment will come due to two primary reasons:

1) Sin

God cannot tolerate sin. Unredeemed sin brings the wrath of God.

Colossians 3:5-7 (New King James Version)5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

2) Israel

God made a covenant with Abraham regarding Israel. Israel are God’s people and Israel is God’s land. Our leaders better learn that quickly. When we go against God’s covenant with Israel we bring nothing but judgment upon our land.

Genesis 12:2-4 (New King James Version) 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Genesis 15:17-19 (New King James Version)17 And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. 18 On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates— 19 the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites,

Israel is God’s prophetic time clock.

Much of the turmoil we see is a result of judgment. Economic crisis, war, natural disasters and famines abound.

But, be of good cheer. Judgment has come to the world but if you are born again you are not of the world!

Because of the shed blood of Jesus we are exempt from judgment.

When we sin we repent and are immediately forgiven. All because of the Cross of Christ.

“But, Mace we live in this world that is being judged. We suffer just like anyone else.”

Not if you know the power of the blood.

In ancient Egypt judgment came upon the land. Moses, as God’s spokesman had demanded Pharaoh let God’s people go.

Pharaoh refused and judgment came. God was merciful and sent plagues and pestilence. Yet, Pharaoh would not repent.

Finally, God brought the ultimate judgment: death.

The angel of death would kill the first born of all that lived in the land of Egypt.

Well, the Israelites lived in Egypt didn’t they?

But, God had a plan of salvation for them.

They were to take a lamb without blemish and sacrifice it. The blood was then to be placed on the side doorposts and upper doorposts of their homes. Isn’t it interesting that this formed a cross?

Then God told Moses

Exodus 12:12-13 (New King James Version)12 ‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

This was a type and shadow of the Cross of Christ.

All of Egypt faced judgment but those under the blood were spared. Not only were they spared they left Egypt prosperous and healthy!

What am I saying? Don’t be afraid of the news. You are under the blood of Jesus!

You prosper in the midst of famine!

You are healed in the midst of death.

You stand strong while the world shakes in weakness. It is because of the blood!

The Cross of Christ Part 3

Since the beginning of time man has opposed God’s way of redemption.

Abel and Cain were brothers and were children of Adam and Eve.

Cain was a gardener and Abel was a shepherd.

Abel sacrificed the firstlings of his flock to God. God accepted this blood offering and was pleased with it.

Cain, on the other hand brought the fruit of the ground. He didn’t even bring the first fruits. He just brought some fruit.

God did not accept Cain’s offering. This ticked Cain off.

God noticed this and spoke to Cain.

Genesis 4:6-7 (Amplified Bible)6And the Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry? And why do you look sad and depressed and dejected? 7If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it.

Father God loved Cain. He gave Cain every opportunity to have victory in his life. He warned him that sin crouched at his door and Cain’s way would not be victorious over it.

He told Cain only the blood offering would be acceptable.

Well, Cain immediately changed his ways and offered up a blood sacrifice, right?

NO!
Cain got mad and killed Abel.

Friend, religion kills.

Abel’s sacrifice was a type of the Cross. It foreshadowed the sacrifice Christ would make at Calvary.

Christ’s sacrifice is the only acceptable way to God. Faith in His shed blood is the only way to overcome sin that crouches at our door.

Cain’s sacrifice was a type of religion. It typified man trying to enter God’s presence on man’s terms.

Man and much of the church want nothing to do with the blood of Jesus. Man wants to enter the throne room of God by merit, religious works, and by SELF-help.

In self there is no help there is only defeat.

It is only through the blood do we have entrance into the Holy of Holies. It is only through the blood do we have victory over sin, the flesh and the devil.

The cross of Christ has always been an offense to the world and sadly to much of the Church.

Friend, we as believers are dependant upon the Cross.

1 Corinthians 1:18 (New King James Version) 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

“Mace, the Cross is old school. Today’s times call for more modern themes to be preached from the pulpits.”

The devil has been crafty. He has eliminated the preaching of the Cross in much of the modern church. The Cross does not fit into man’s scheme of growing the Church.

Friend, do not be deceived. The sinner needs the cross for salvation and the believer needs the Cross for power to live the faith life.

It is because of the blood of Jesus we have a covenant right to victory over the world, the flesh and the devil.

It is because of the Cross we have a right to eternal life.

It is because of the Cross we have a right to healing and prosperity.

Alas and did Saviour bleed and did my sov'reign dieWould he devote that sacred head for such a worm as IAt the cross at the cross where I first saw the lightAnd the burden of my heart rolled awayIt was there by faith I received my sight and now I am happy all the dayWas it for crimes that I have done he groaned upon the treeAmazing pity grace unknown and love beyond degreeAt the cross at the cross...But drops of grief cannot repay the debt of love I oweHere Lord I give myself away it's all that I can doAt the cross at the cross...At the cross at the cross...

Find The Place Part 5

You will never know who you are in Christ by watching TV all day long

You will never know how valuable you are to God by filling your ears with music that denigrates mankind or your womanhood.

You will never know your worth by reading "Self Help" books by those that don’t know a thing about God.

You must find the place where it is written.

“Mace, I am nothing to the Church. I don’t preach. I am not gifted in speech. I am not that good to look at. I am not important.”

Find the place:
1 Corinthians 3:16 (New King James Version)16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Did you get that? You, yes you, are the temple of the living God! His Holy Spirit resides on the inside of every single believer.
Galatians 4:6-7 (Amplified Bible)6And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [[a]Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! 7Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir [b]by the aid of God, through Christ.

I like that. You really are a son or daughter of God. It’s as if the Holy Spirit inserted “really” because He knew it would be hard for us to believe.

You are not just a temple of God you are His child. He is your “Daddy”.

Those of you that never had an earthly father you have a Heavenly Father that loves you so much He gave His own Son so you could be adopted.

1 John 3:1-2 (New King James Version) 1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God![a] Therefore the world does not know us,[b] because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God…

Confess who you are!

You are a child of God paid for by the blood of Jesus.

He left the splendor of heaven,
Knowing His destinyWas the lonely hill of Golgotha,
There to lay down His life for me.
If that isn't loveThe ocean is dry,
There’re no stars in the sky,
And the sparrow can't fly;
If that isn't loveThen heaven's a myth,
There's no feeling like thisIf that isn't love.
Even in death He rememberedThe thief hanging by His side;
Then he spoke of love and compassionThen He took him to paradise
.If that isn't loveThe ocean is dry,
There’re no stars in the sky,
And the sparrow can't fly;
If that isn't loveThen heaven's a myth,
There's no feeling like thisIf that isn't love.
