Philemon 1:15-16 (Amplified Bible)15Perhaps it was for this reason that he was separated [from you] for a while, that you might have him back as yours forever, 16Not as a slave any longer but as [something] more than a slave, as a brother [Christian], especially dear to me but how much more to you, both in the flesh [as a servant] and in the Lord [as a fellow believer].
So many believers get really upset when they see a brother or sister in Christ fall to sexual sin, drugs, or alcohol.
"I don't see how they could be saved and do those things."
Yes, those are terrible sins. All sin is terrible. But, thank God for the mercy of God.
You know what? God sees into the heart. Some of these same folk condemning may not be committing a sexual sin or drinking, but, they are committing a sin of hatred.
"Mace, I can't help how I feel about black people."
Then God is a liar because He says you are new creature. You are now a son or daughter of God and God does not show prejudice because of race.
"But, you don't know what those white folk did to my grandparents."
No, but I know what all of mankind did to God the Father's Son. Yet, He loved us while we were yet sinners.
How, it must sadden the Father's heart and bring joy to Satan when we allow our words to speak against His children.
If you have ill will or prejudice buried deep within your heart ask the Holy Spirit to purge it. Don't allow your words to please hell and grieve heaven.
Speak the love language of your Heavenly Father.

Love For The Brethren
Philemon 1:4-5 (New King James Version) 4 I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers, 5 hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,
Faith and love go hand in hand. The problem is when we try to operate one without the other.
Notice, the love of Philemon for Jesus and all the saints was so powerful that it was well known through out the Body of Christ.
I wonder how much our love is for the Body of Christ? Yes, it is easy to love the people that sit next to us Sunday morning.
But, do we bother to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in another city, state or another nation. When we hear about injustice to our brethren do we just shrug our shoulders or do we go to battle on their behalf in the spirit realm?
A brother or sister somewhere is depending on your prayer and my prayer. We are the one's God has tapped on the shoulder and told to go into the battle.
When you feel the Holy Spirit leading you into prayer and you don't know how to pray then pray in your prayer language, That is why it is given. Don't ignore the Holy Spirit.
Take your place for your family in Christ.

Mercy
Titus 3:12-15 (Amplified Bible)12When I send Artemas or [perhaps] Tychicus to you, lose no time but make every effort to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there. 13Do your utmost to speed Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way; see that they want for (lack) nothing. 14And let our own [people really] learn to apply themselves to good deeds (to honest labor and honorable employment), so that they may be able to meet necessary demands [a]whenever the occasion may require and not be living idle and uncultivated and unfruitful lives. 15All who are with me wish to be remembered to you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace (God's favor and blessing) be with you all. Amen (so be it).
Verse 14 tells us why the Holy Spirit through Paul wants us to do good deeds.
It is so we will be in a position to meet the needs of a hurting world, which in turn, allows us to bring Jesus to them.
There are Christian organizations that supply food to third world countries with a two-fold purpose: 1) Feed the natural man 2) Feed the spiritual man with Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We have gotten pretty good about preaching to people, condemning sin, and publishing the Gospel.
Let us not forget that the Lord Jesus Himself also instructed us to feed the hungry, take care of the poor, and meet the needs of the hurting.
"But, some of those folk don't deserve help. They are drug addicts or boozers."
Friend, it is only the guilty that need mercy.
When we look in the mirror we see someone guilty but who was given mercy. Not because we deserved it. It was because He loved you and me. How dare we not do the same?

Jesus, The Holy Ghost, The Word
Titus 2:15 (New Living Translation) 15 You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when necessary, so don’t let anyone disregard what you say.
The world is dying and the Church is weakening due to a departing from the fundamentals of faith.
We need less series and more of the Holy Ghost.
We need less pop psychology and more of the Word.
We need less from the latest best seller and more of Jesus.
Jesus, the Word and the Holy Ghost are what solves every problem known to man.
Jesus has saved you from every thing the devil can throw at you.
The Holy Ghost empowers you to live victoriously and flow in the supernatural move of God the Father.
The Word is our offensive weapon in our battle of faith.

Seed Time And Harvest
Titus 2:14 (New King James Version)14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
The Lord states in the book of Genesis that as long as the earth remains there would be seedtime and harvest.
We sow seeds and expect a harvest in return. Anything you and I have can be a seed. Time, money, love, praise, etc. are all seeds we can sow and expect a harvest.
Friend, Jesus was the ultimate seed. God the Father sowed Him into the belly of the earth. The result was a harvest of born again sons and daughters.
God sowed His best.
God sowed His only begotten Son.
That seed is still reaping a harvest of sons and daughters today.
Don't ever stop sowing and sow your best.
Sow with expectation.

Spiritual Anorexia
Titus 2:11 (Amplified Bible)11For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind.
Anorexia is a terrible demonic inspired disease. People literally starve themselves to death.
The person oppressed by this disease won't eat. Food can be placed right in front of them and they will come up with an excuse as to why they won't eat.
"I am not hungry."
"I already ate."
If they don't eat they will die. If they do die they can't blame those that made the food. They can't blame those that brought them the food for not making them eat.
For whatever reason THEY chose not to eat.
Friend, the world is suffering from sin. God the Father has provided the cure in His Son Jesus Christ. All one must do is place their faith in His substitution death and His resurrection and confess Him as Lord.
Jesus is free. However, God the Father will not force anyone to accept this gift of salvation.
We must receive by our own free will by faith.
Friend, the only way to not go to heaven and spend eternity in hell is because you made the choice to do so.
What is your choice going to be?
