2 Timothy 1:10 (New King James Version)10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
The moment Jesus Christ rose from the dead death was forever conquered.
Not just physical death but spiritual death.
He took your sin on the cross and gave you His righteousness.
He took all the curses of the law upon Himself at Calvary (sickness, poverty, madness, etc.) and gave you His blessing.
Your sin and the curse that comes with sin were buried in the tomb with Jesus.
On the third day Jesus rose from the dead and the born again you did, as well, in the eyes of God.
So, if there is death in your marriage, finances, health or any other area of your life then it is not in line with the New Covenant.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ then you are redeemed from the curse of the Law.
If you are born again then life is your legal right and death does not belong to you.
You stand your ground for your rights and confess what is yours in Christ Jesus!
You enforce the Covenant you have with the Father with your words of faith.

The Word For The Day April 29
2 Timothy 1:9 (New King James Version)9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
Why should you be joyful this morning? Why should you not be on PityMe street?
Because God the Father has saved you from hell.
He has saved you from the curse of the law.
He has saved you from poverty.
He has saved you from disease.
And if that wasn't enough...
He has called you with a Holy calling not because you did anything to deserve it.
He did it through Grace or unmerited Favor. That favor follows every area of your life. You must realize that His favor is with you at work.
His favor is with you at home.
His favor is with you as you and with your spouse.
His favor is all over you!
Now live and ACT like a highly favored one!

2 Timothy 1:8 (Amplified Bible)8Do not blush or be ashamed then, to testify to and for our Lord, nor of me, a prisoner for His sake, but [[a]with me] take your share of the suffering [to which the preaching] of the Gospel [may expose you, and do it] in the power of God.
If you are preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and you never have any opposition then you are not preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We should never set out to offend with our preaching or our testifying. However, if you preach or witness out of a position of fear then you will hinder the work of God.
There are some Pastors that don't like certain demonstrations of the Spirit out of fear of what the visitors will think.
Sometimes we don't witness as we should because of fear of what people will think.
I remember being in a bank one time and the teller had the flu. The Holy Spirit told me to ask her if I could pray for her.
I wish I could say that I did. However, out of fear of what she would think I just went on my way.
I was concerned about how I looked to this stranger than I was about how I looked to my Father.
Let's not be like I was and let us not be ashamed of this glorious Gospel message we have been given.

The Word For The Day April 25
2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified Bible)7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
Quit confessing fear. When you confess fear or doubt you are confessing that you have more faith in the devil's work than in God's Word.
God plainly tells us He has not given us a spirit of cowardice or fawning fear. If you feel that coming on you then you must remember that there is a spirit behind that fear AND IT IS NOT FROM GOD!
God has given a spirit of POWER, LOVE, A WELL BALANCED MIND AND SELF CONTROL.
Let this be your confession of faith: I DON'T HAVE A SPIRIT OF FEAR. I HAVE A SPIRIT OF POWER. I HAVE A SPIRIT OF LOVE. I HAVE A SOUND MIND. THIS IS WHAT GOD THE FATHER HAS SAID THEREFORE I KNOW IT IS TRUE NO MATTER WHAT I FEEL. HIS WORD IS TRUE OVER MY LIFE IN JESUS' NAME.

The Word For The Day April 24
2 Timothy 1:6 (New King James Version)6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
We learn two very important principles in today's scripture:
1) Sometimes spiritual gifts are imparted to us by the laying on of hands by a man of God. Now, you must be careful. There are plenty of phony's out there but in order for there to be a phony there has to be that which is real. The Holy Spirit will confirm in your spirit whether this action is from God or not. The point is that it is a Biblical action.
2) Sometimes you have to stir up the gift God has placed in you. Otherwise, it becomes stagnant. Stir it up by exercising your gift, praising God for the gift and confessing your gift.
If God has given you the gift of prophecy then prophesy.
If God has given you the gift of healing then lay hands on the sick.
Whatever the gift is use it for the glory of God!

The Word For The Day April 23
2 Timothy 1:5 (New King James Version)5 when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.
This scripture should put faith and hope in every believer that is believing for the salvation of a loved one.
Timothy was saved under Paul's ministry. He was a tremendous asset to the work of God.
But, where was the seed planted that produced the harvest of his salvation? It appears that it first was planted through his grandmother.
Then, through his grandmother a seed was planted in his mother. Through his mother a seed was planted into Timothy.
Some of you have planted seeds of the Word into loved ones and you are waiting for the harvest. Don't give up. Water that seed with faith confessions and praise.
That seed will grow and produce a harvest of salvation in your loved one.

2 Timothy 1:3-4 (New King James Version) 3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, 4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy,
Paul was a Pastor's Pastor. What an example he set for not only Pastors but also all of those in the five fold ministry.
He constantly prayed for his spiritual children. As ministers we are to pray for those that God has placed us over and we are there to serve them.
We do this out of love. Jesus served those in need and His disciples.
Are we not to do the same?
As ministers we need to return phone calls.
If we tell someone we are going to do something we need to do it.
People are watching us. If we give our word and don't follow through the devil will use that to turn some away from God.
The bottom line is this: Out of love we should operate in integrity and with the heart of a servant.

The Word For The Day April 21
2 Timothy 1:1-2 (Amplified Bible) 1PAUL, AN apostle (special messenger) of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus, 2To Timothy, [my] beloved child: Grace (favor and spiritual blessing), mercy, and [heart] peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!
Paul begins his second letter by pointing out several truths that we need to embrace in our own lives:
1) In Christ there is a promise of life. If the devil or demon forces are trying to bring death to any of area of life you must realize they are liars. At the Cross Jesus totally defeated every foe we will ever face. His death brings us life in every area. It is your job to enforce this victory by faith.
2) Grace is yours as a believer. Through our New Covenant we have God's favor over every situation in life. Don't nullify His Grace with words of doubt or by trying to earn Grace by works.
3) Mercy is yours as a believer. Only the guilty need mercy. Friend, that is you and I at one time or another.
4) Peace is yours as a believer. Peace comes from knowing you are right with God. You are right with God because of the Cross of Christ.
So confess this today: Through the Cross of Christ I have God's favor over every situation. I have mercy through the blood of Jesus. I have peace of mind through Christ Jesus. All these benefits are mine now in Jesus Name!

The Word For The Day April 11
1 Timothy 6:12 (Amplified Bible)12Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.
There is only one fight you and I are to fight and that is the fight of faith.
Faith in what? The finished work of Christ at Calvary. You see, every enemy you and I face was defeated at the Cross and every benefit of the New Covenant was paid for in the blood shed there.
Faith in the finished work leads to what?
The good confession. The confession of faith simply means we are verbally agreeing with the Word of God.
So many have a hard time with this aspect of the Christian walk. I know people that can't understand how I can confess my son is recovering of Autism. They have more faith in what they see than in the Word of God.
The Word says He is healed by the stripes of Jesus. 1 Peter 2:14
The Word says if a believer lays hands on him he will recover. Mark 16:18
The Word says to take the sick to the elders of the church, have them anointed with oil and the prayer of FAITH will raise them up. James 5:14-15.
Either the Lord meant what He said or He didn't.
Faith says He did. The fight of faith is standing on the Word when all five senses tell us otherwise.
You see. it doesn't take a whole lot of faith for me to believe for something I can see. In fact, it takes no faith at all. Faith comes when you only have the Word of God as evidence.
Faith is the evidence of things not seen Hebrews 11:1
So make your words line up with the Word. I am convinced this is what has been hindering many of us from seeing the promises of God manifest. We say we believe but our words betray us.
Determine today to fight the good fight of faith and confess the Word over every circumstance.

The Word For The Day April 9
1 Timothy 6:11 (Amplified Bible)11But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christ like), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart.
Financial prosperity should not be the motivation for those called to the five fold ministry. Likewise, it should not be the motivation for serving God.
It is our love for the Lord that drives us to tithe and to give offerings. It is not greed.
But, the wonderful thing is that financial prosperity is promised if we give with the right heart. It is just as much a promise as salvation. Let's look at what Jesus said:
Luke 6:38 (King James Version) 38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Matthew 6:33 (King James Version) 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
When you give according to the Word of God you are promised by Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, prosperity.
The world's way will lead to destruction.
The Lord's way leads to an abundant supply of seed to keep on sowing!

The Word For The Day April 9
1 Timothy 6:10 (Amplified Bible)10For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many [a]acute [mental] pangs.
It is not money that is the root of all evil. That is often misquoted. It is the love of money.
You have to have money to live. You need money for gas, to pay your bills, and to buy food.
Money is necessary.
But, money is not your God; therefore, it is not your source. Jehovah is.
It is Biblical to prosper. It is promised over and over in the Word for those that obey the Word of God.
However, it is prosperity with a purpose. That purpose is to be blessed to be a blessing to your family, the Body of Christ, and the world.

The Word For The Day April 8
1 Timothy 6:9 (Amplified Bible)9But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and miserable perishing.
Notice, it does not condemn those that are rich. I don't know about you but I want to be rich. The more prosperous I am the more I can bless my family, the Body of Christ, and those in need. This is the purpose of Biblical prosperity.
The Holy Spirit here is talking about those that covet riches. The definition of covet is to feel inordinate desire for what belongs to another. This leads to the following dangers:
1. temptations of the devil
2. many snares of the devil
3. many foolish lusts
4. many hurtful lusts
5. destruction and perdition
6. the root of evil to grow
7. one to err from the faith
8. many sorrows
9. high mindedness
10. wrong trust
When we prosper according to God's plan it brings joy, peace, and abundance.
Mace Wilkerson Ministries1 Corinthians 1:18, 23

The Word For The Day April 7
1 Timothy 6:6-8 (Amplified Bible)" 6[And it is, indeed, a source of immense profit, for] godliness accompanied with contentment (that contentment which is a sense of [a]inward sufficiency) is great and abundant gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and obviously we cannot take anything out of the world; 8But if we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content (satisfied)."
As we are blessed with the Lord we are tested.
The Lord and the devil are both watching to see what we do with our blessings. The Lord is watching to see if we are good stewards of our blessings. He is watching to see if we are content and not covetousness.
The devil is looking to see if we are taking God's blessings for granted. He is looking for an opening to get a foothold into our lives. Often this opening is greed.
Yes, God wants us to be abundantly blessed. But, the blessing is never the motivation. The motivation should be to please God and to be a blessing to ourselves, our family and the Body of Christ.
When God sees He can trust you with a little He will begin to bless you with much.
